My name is Angela Waite, I am a registered Psychologist (Registration #PSY0001773842) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with the Psychology Board of Australia, and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
I hold a Bachelor of Science (Hons), majoring in Psychology, completed through the University of Southern Queensland and the University of Tasmania and graduated in 2007. I have also completed a Bachelor of Arts, Professional Honours in Human Services Practice, through the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2015.
As part of becoming a psychologist I have completed an internship requiring over 3080 hours of supervised practice in addition to rigorous demonstrations of abilities to conduct formal psychological testing, various therapy engagement techniques and counselling skills.
I have extensive experience providing psychological assessment, intervention and support across various settings including occupational/employment, youth, general mental health, and justice.
I enjoy supporting clients to improve and empower their overall wellbeing and have varied interest in client groups including women and womens health, youth, relationships, justice, and workplace related matters, to name a few.
I am a keen learner and enjoy being curious and open to engaging in ongoing professional development to further assist and support the clients I am working with.
